Who is Going?

There will be around 100 participants, staff, and guests throughout the two weekends. Wood Badge is designed to function identically to real unit. You will be placed in a patrol of about 6 scouters, each from separate backgrounds, districts, scouting careers, skill levels, and program areas. You will have a Troop Guide that will work with your patrol, an administrative staff to keep the troop operating, a support staff to keep us fed and running, a Senior Patrol Leader, and a Scoutmaster. One of the aims of Wood Badge is to remind adults how the patrol method works, how teams come together, and to exchange ideas about ways to make our units run smoother.

Special guests may be in attendance during part of the course, including past course directors, council representatives, and possibly region or national representatives.
